Highlights

Watching Tony help Norene like he was her valet/caddie!! Norene loved the attention, I think!

The 1963 county golf champs were well represented by Pix, Poweska and Frampton Bechtold. Shooting 74, 75, and 76 respectively!! We still GOT IT!!

Pat shot a respectable 80 something, thrashing Jim, whose excuse was, “I haven’t played since April, what did you expect??!!” Next time, he plans to practice right before!

Poweska was very steady, missing a few or he would have been under par, most likely.

Bechtold was also very steady, considering he had to play well with Sara giving him regular pointers.

Pix – well he wasn’t too great, but as the “scrambler” he finished birdie, birdie (could have been eagle, eagle) for a respectable 75.

Sara hits it very good, as does Pat. You can see they’ve been playing a long time.

Norene, well, she tried to bow out several times (I guess she was intimidated) but by hole #9 (her last) she was claiming to “like golf”.

Steve Gardner – he was great, too! I played with him and he made 4 birdies, missed some others and finished in themed 70’s as well.

Best highlight: Steve lipped out hole in one on #8, as witnessed by Poweska and myself.

Next reunion there will be more notice so I expect Rosenbaum, Gianavola, Tramanto, Didas (new pegs), Bunk, Stander, Thrasher, etc. to play.

PRACTICE!!!!!

"There's something about the '60s now that makes you a significant person unless you snored through the decade and did nothing. So now, when you talk about an era seen as one of the defining decades in recent history, filled with turbulence and self-sacrifice, it's very hard all these years later to admit you weren't really a part of it." - David Oshinsky, History Professor, Rutgers University

Oh!! But we WERE a part of it!!!!
